Speaking as a 26 year old adult who has struggled with ADHD his whole life, this place is amazing. My counselor was Andrew and he has helped with just about every part of my life that I was struggling with. I have much less anxiety, more confidence, and I'm generally a lot more happy with life! Mental Wellness Services in West Bloomfield, MI, FAQs

How many therapy sessions are typically required to see results?

40 sessions is a typical length of treatment; however, the number of sessions required to see improvement in your mental health depends on the severity of your condition, your overall mental health, and your commitment to the treatment process.

While some of our clients may experience noticeable improvements within a few sessions, others may require a more extended course of treatment. Most begin to notice a change within the first eight sessions. Our therapists will work closely with you to monitor your progress and determine the appropriate number of sessions.

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, no insurance providers currently cover neuromodulation directly. However, we are providers for BCBS PPO and Aetna for those interested in psychotherapy.

What is the difference between traditional therapy and neurotherapy?

Traditional therapy primarily focuses on psychological interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or psychodynamic therapy. Neurotherapy, on the other hand, utilizes advanced technology to directly influence brain activity.

By targeting specific brainwave patterns, neurotherapy can help change the symptom picture and improve the individual's brain functioning. While traditional therapy and neurotherapy can be used in conjunction to address mental health concerns, neurotherapy offers a unique and potentially effective approach for some individuals.
